Sicily, Italy
First, Let's start with Sicily, Italy the Island of the Cyclops! Besides the giant one-eyed Cyclops, it turns out Sicily is actually a pretty cool place. Who would've thought? Sicily's beaches are absolutely gorgeous, there are so many ruins, and the people are incredibly friendly. Maybe just don't tell anybody your real name. In the Odyssey, Odysseus and his crew are taken hostage. To escape Odysseus stabs the Cyclops in the eye making him blind forever. This is a part of what made Odysseus' journey so difficult as his actions enraged the sea god Poseidon cursing Odysseus' fate on the sea.
Sightseeing is a major attraction in Sicily. The views are truly breathtaking—you don't even need two eyes for that.
